The rookie was captured by the beautiful golden object in his hands. The moons light seemed to bounce off of it, lighting up the entire lifeless complex.
"Lets get a move on, kid." The grizzled old thief snatched the payload and stuffed it in a black dufflebag, then turned to leave.
"Wait!" The rookie strained his whisper to a near normal speaking voice. "What about your call card?" He questioned, pointing to the now vacant pedestal in the middle of the room. A chilling laugh that could freeze a heart of stone reverbarated around the room.

I stood In front of the glowing light with a blue hue, and repeated the same sentance over and over again.
"Through the darkness there is hope, through the darkness there is hope..." Slowly the words detirorated in my mouth.
"Through the darkness....hope...... Through darkness....hope.... Through darkness......" Then, the whispers came. Constantly brushing my hair aside, slowly sliding down my skin.
"We will.... We willl....." They whispered.
